Covenant of Marriage

This is a time where our families are under attack, our marriages are under severe attack, the enemy seeks to divide

and destroy that what our heavenly Father holds sacred - family.

Allow me to share a message I received from our Father, through the Holy Spirit on marriage.

Gen 1:18(NKJ)

And the Lord God said, it is not good that man should be alone;

I will make him a helper comparable to him.

As I, the God of all creation, breathed life into man, I set him apart to rule the nations.

To bring heaven upon the earth. I gave him the most precious of all gifts - LOVE.

I created for him a lover and a friend. A woman taken from within him, to partner,

to share his thoughts and to share his dreams. To know him. To be knit and woven to him.

Never to be beneath him, but to be alongside of him in all ways. To be a companion.

However, man has corrupted this wonderful gift.

As with many gifts I have given, he has perverted the act of love

and made it unholy and easy to obtain.

I grafted them into one another. Woven into each other, never to be separated by man.

For what God unifies, man should not separate. Is this not My word?

Yet man in his own strength, desires the flesh. This is his weakness.

Never is one enough. Ruled by the carnal and not by My Spirit.

For what My Spirit breathes upon gives life, light and all things pure.

Nothing is tainted or defiled. I created this union and sanctified it, yet man with

his hardened heart and his own wisdom has discarded it and made it simple

and easy to cast away.

Yet it is My blessing they seek to unify, to form this bond of marriage but they struggle

to keep My promise, the covenant with one another, the covenant they made

before their God.

I spoke these words over man when I created him, as I breathed My very breath into him,

I said, "Go forth and multiply, be fruitful". I placed love in his heart, and a longing for

each other.

LOVE is who I am.

Yet man finds it easy to discard his love.

Love is patient, love is kind, love endures all, every wrong. Who is man to judge another?

I AM the judge. I alone. Who is man to question My word?

I AM the forgiver of sins. I hold the key to life in the palm of My hand.

I gave love to this world in the form of My Son. The Christ. If you know who your Father is,

in your heart, you will love one another. If you follow Me, deceit will have no part in you.

If you carry My love, you will be faithful to those you love.

You will forgive as I have forgiven you. You will love as I love you.

I have breathed new life into you, the old man has died, the new man in Christ now lives.

Yet you struggle, renew your mind. You are no longer of this world!

Do not strive, do not lust, these things are of the flesh. You are now Spirit. You are in Christ!

Hold onto what is sacred in My eyes. For I have blessed marriage as sacred,

not to be defiled by man. Hold onto My word. You are no longer sinners you are free.

You are no longer captives in your hearts.

Love one another. Serve one another. Carry one another. Do not be deceived by the flesh,

by the foolish wisdom of man. Lean not on your own understanding.

1 Peter 4:8 (NKJ)

And above all things have fervent love for one another,

for "love will cover a multitude of sins."
