I AM your rock.

Matt 16:15-18 (NKJ)

He said to them, "But who do you say that I am?"

16Simon Peter answered and said, "You are the Christ,

the Son of the living God." 17 Jesus answered and said to him,

"Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not

revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.

18 And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I

will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.

Remember Peter children of God, remember he who doubted, he who denied.

Yet it was he who had enough faith to step out upon the water. He who loved passionately.

He who hungered for Christ. To him Christ said, "feed My sheep;" not only to Peter,

but to all who follow Christ, and this He said also, "follow Me."

Within each of you is a Peter. One who fears, one who has such passion to fight for truth,

one who doubts but still has faith to try. Do not look upon Peter as the one who doubted,

look upon him as the one who had the courage to step out of the boat and come to Christ

when all the others remained.

Do not see as man sees, see the passion, see the courage, see the faith.

See the Rock upon which he stands, the true Rock- the one who brings Salvation.

See the 3000 that came to Christ in one day, by the strength of the Spirit within Peter.

See a man filled by the Spirit of God, changed, lifted up, he who glorified Christ.

To each child I have given a promise, a promise of My goodness,

My grace, My strength. I will not call you and not equip you for good works in My kingdom.

Do not concern yourself at times where you are forced to speak My truth in this world.

I will give you the words, words of wisdom, words of understanding,

and words of discernment.

Lean not on your own understanding for this will fail you. Look to your heavenly Father.

He alone knows all truth; He alone knows your comings and your goings.

To trust in your own strength is foolishness. To trust in your own wisdom is foolishness.

Are your ways greater than the one who created you? who created the universe?

who spoke life into existence? Do you know more than He...the great I AM!

Is this not arrogance in the thinking of man?

Consult Me child, in all you do. I will point the way. Remain within My will.

Remain within My shadow, it is there that you are safe, it is there that you are protected,

it is there that you find peace, it is there that you rest.

Allow Me to minister to your heart, allow Me to change you and shape you as with Peter.

Follow Me. Do not concern yourself with the ways of another...you follow Me.

Come with everything you are and lay it before Me, I will create the Masterpiece.

I know what the finished product looks like. I am the Potter. Trust in My goodness.

Do not be afraid to step out of the boat, take My hand. I will never leave you,

I am your Rock and your firm foundation.
