Rest in Me...

Isaiah 51:16 (NKJ)

And I have put My words in your mouth;

I have covered you with the shadow of My hand,

That I may plant the heavens,

Lay the foundations of the earth,

And say to Zion,' You are My people."

Children of God, when the noise of this world becomes too loud,

and too much to bear.

Turn your heart to the Father. Come, that I may shield you.

That I may comfort you in times of trial.

I will set you within the shadow of My hand,

and protect you from this onslaught.

Rest in Me. It is in this place I will minister to your hearts,

the truth of who I am. The truth of who you are in Christ.

It is in this resting place that the enemy cannot see you,

he cannot reach you.

You are covered by your heavenly Father.

It is in this place I whisper, I nurture and stretch you.

I grow you, and I water you in My love.

It is in these very moments you come to know My love for you.

In this world you will have troubles, you will have sorrow but know that

through Christ there is victory. He has overcome the world.

With Christ in you, you have hope.

Know that even in your darkest hour I am with you.

Even when you cannot see, I am your light. I will show you the way.

I am a God of light, I bring life to every situation, it is who I am.

Give it to Me, your burdens. Set it before Me and receive your healing.

Do not carry this burden alone. Give it to Me.

Learn to rest. It is in this resting you find healing.

It is not found in the pushing. It is not in the striving.

It is in the resting you will find Me.

My ways are not the ways of man.

I am in the gentle whisper.

I am order, not chaos.

I am rest for your weary bones.

I refresh, I restore, I heal.

I am the rest!
