The Shepherd

Psalm 23:5-6

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;

You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over.

6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life;

and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

The Good Shepherd

My child, hear the truth of My word, the Shepherd, the ONE who is and who was and who is to come.

He is the ONE who restores the heart, the balance in all things. He is the ONE who is good.

Goodness and mercy flow from His hand, it is a gift, a promise to those who willingly receive,

to those who will open their hearts and allow Him to come in and rest.

He takes them and makes them lie down and rest by still waters, to be still in their thoughts,

to be quiet. He takes them into that quite place where He restores, where He heals.

He does not leave them alone, He sits with them and He comforts them.

Child of God, through every valley of your life I will be with you, I walk beside you, do not fear,

do not be afraid for I your God am already there; I have already set the table.

Do not fear the onslaught of the enemy for I have already overcome. I anoint your head,

you are Mine.

I fill your cup till it overflows with My goodness, with My grace and with My love.

My rod and My staff protect, I keep the enemy at a distance.

I am your shield and your exceedingly great reward. My love for you is great,

My life I have given so that you may live. I am the good Shepherd.

I know My sheep and they follow My voice. I know what they need and I provide.

Nobody can enter through the gate unless I allow it.

I restore the soul and bring righteousness. I am the Light, I am the Truth and

I am the only way to the Father. What I have given I give in love and by grace.
