The wind and waves know His name
Matt 8:26-27 (NKJV)
But He said to them, "Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?" Then He arose and rebuked the winds
and the sea, and there was a great calm. 27 So the men marveled, saying, "Who can this be, that even the
winds and the sea obey Him?"

During a moment of quiet prayer time with the Lord the Holy Spirit shared the following with me:
Vision:
I see large waves, crashing and turning as if controlled by the wind. There are people standing some knee deep, some waist deep in different parts of the water, some are standing between the rocks where the waves are not so high.
There is a young teenage boy running into the waves, being thrown and tossed around yet still he runs back into the waves. Again and again, he is carried out, exhausted he does not give up.
A woman stands near him, then stepping forward she takes hold of him by the shoulders; he looks at her bewildered and tired. She points up, his eyes follow hers as he looks towards the sky, his breathing becomes calmer.
Word
See, child of God, the waves, the rocks, the storms of life. Some (people) rush in, unafraid yet without direction or purpose.
Who will guide them? Who will show them the way?
Some stand and wait, calm between the rushing water. They wait - for Me.
Those who rush are without boundaries and have no limitation, they cannot be controlled.
They become bewildered and exhausted by the struggle and yet they cannot stop themselves.
They are thrown around and battered by life's waves, by the turmoil of this world.
Until someone comes and takes hold of them 'Be still' they say, and see, pointing to a new way.
Look up to Him, the One who will come upon the clouds, look to the One who saves. Be still.
Do not rush, do not strive. He controls the sea, the wind and the waves, they know His name.
Every child of God needs that touch, the steady hand to hold them and to help them.
That light to show them they are not alone, they are loved.
They are loved by the King of kings and the Lord of lords.
See, look around. Many stand in the waves of life, still, they stand. Calmly rooted, not shaken by the storm.
They know My voice. They hear the voice of The Shepherd.
Until you know the voice of the One who saves, the storms of life will bring turmoil and strife.
I calm every storm - you need only to be still.
Thank you ABBA
